Following an excellent OFSTED report in February which deemed our school good with outstanding pastoral care we are delighted with our bumper results this year.

Every single record in the school’s history has been smashed with some outstanding individual performances at A* and A grade levels. 5% of pupils gained 11A* and A GCSE grades and 20% of pupils gaining three or more A* and A’s.

The results to date show that 72% of pupils achieved 5 or more A* - C. As a Specialist Science College we are particularly pleased that 96% of pupils achieved a minimum of two Science GCSE C grade or equivalent. With 40% achieving A* - C in GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

We are also delighted with the performance of our early entry Year 10 pupils who sat GCSE’s in English Literature and Statistics.
