Be Safe on the Internet
At Albany the safety of our pupils is of paramount importance. From now on school will be promoting the safer use of the internet. We will be holding a focus day for pupils and an internet awareness evening for parents. To support this we will be including a direct link from our website to the website of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) unit. This is a government and police unit dedicated to the protection of children when using the internet. The website gives advice on all aspects of internet safety but most importantly gives information of how to report incidents of a more serious nature to the police.
